Update for the SkyCaddie SG5 and SG2.5

SkyGolf has released a new SkyCaddie software app update for all SG5 and SG2.5 members. This update requires the download and installation of a large file to your SkyCaddie during the syncing process. It is recommended that you sync your SkyCaddie with CaddieSync at your earliest convenience.

THE FOLLOWING ENHANCEMENTS INCLUDE:

Scoring Enhancement

You now have the ability to choose which stats to track on your SkyCaddie. If you are using the Digital Scorecard to score your round, you will be able to turn OFF Putts, Fairways Hit and Tee Shot Distance if you do not want to track them (Total Score will always be ON when Scoring is ON). By default, ALL stats will be turned ON.

To turn OFF the optional scoring information for the SG5:

From the Main Menu, select Advanced Menu > System Settings

Highlight Stats and select

Highlight the stat you want to turn OFF and press Select (NOTE: the check mark will go away)

After you have made your desired selection, press Exit to save your settings

To turn OFF the optional scoring information for the SG2.5:

From the Main Menu, select Advanced Menu > Targets/Stats

Highlight Stats and select

Highlight the stat you want to turn OFF and press Select (NOTE: the check mark will go away)

After you have made your desired selection, press Exit to save your settings

New Increments for MyPar

Changed MyPar increments from 5 to 1 to allow members to set a more accurate MyPar goal.

THE FOLLOWING FIXES ARE ADDRESSED:

Switch from Sync to Home Screen

We fixed the issue so the device will not automatically switch from the sync screen to the home screen when connected using Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Now you will need to press the Exit button to switch to the home screen.

Resume Round

We fixed the issue that caused the last saved round to be lost by removing the 'Resume Round' option when there is no current round.

Scoring for Holes 9 and 18

We fixed the issue that prevented a player from entering a score on the scorecard for holes 9 and 18. Auto-course select has been turned OFF after hole 9 on a 9-hole course so that a finished prompt is displayed. The new finished prompt display was changed from "Ready for Next Hole" to "Finished Hole X?"

These current versions correct many issues reported by customers. If you do not believe you are running the latest software, please sync your SkyCaddie at your earliest convenience to receive the most recent feature enhancements and maintenance patches.
