SGX Update

SkyGolf has released a new SkyCaddie software app and OS update for all SGX members. Since this updates both the app and the OS, the file size will be larger than usual. It is recommended that you sync your SGX with CaddieSync at your earliest convenience.

Once the update process has been completed, please do the following:

1. Re-download your courses to the SGX
2. Power off the SGX
3. Unplug the cable from the SGX
4. While the cable is disconnected, power the SGX back on

THE FOLLOWING FEATURE ENHANCEMENTS ARE INCLUDED:

New Color Scheme

The new color scheme is designed to make the SGX easier to read in direct sunlight. The font size was increased on the top navigation of the Target View screens, the background and fill colors were changed on the IntelliGreen screen and the colors on the scorecard screen were changed.

Big Number View

Big Number is now an optional Target View you may turn on in your settings. To turn Big Number on:

From the Main Menu, select Settings > Targets
Select "Target Views"
Highlight "BigNumber" and select
A black dot will appear next to BigNumber to indicate it has been activated
When you are finished, select "Done" to save your settings

THE FOLLOWING FIXES ARE INCLUDED:

Joystick Functionality Improved

Improvements were made to the Joystick to prevent errant selections. The Joystick will not select if you move it in any direction while trying to select.

MyPar Fixed and Improved

HCP is now fixed so you can set a HCP in MyPar. A third screen was added to display Over/Under and MyPar if you have a HCP or MyPar Target set and it will highlight the holes where you get a stroke based on your target number.

Selecting Member-Mapped Course With "Play Golf"

If a Member-Mapped Course was on the SGX, when a user would select "Play Golf" it would select that course. A fix was released so it will no longer select the Member-Mapped Course over an Advanced Feature Course.

Duplicate Results Using "Play Golf"

When you searched for a course using "Play Golf" or "Nearby Courses", some users reported that duplicate results would show up in the results. The fix for this was released to prevent duplicate course names from appearing.

Added Mark Ball Distance to all Target Views

The Mark Ball distance was not displaying on all of the Target View screens. It is now added to all the screens except HoleVue screen and the Preloaded Course Green screen.

These current versions correct many issues reported by customers. If you do not believe you are running the latest software, please sync your SkyCaddie at your earliest convenience to receive the most recent feature enhancements and maintenance patches.
