SkyGolf has released a new SkyCaddie software app and OS update for all SGX members. Like always, the update is FREE as part of your benefits of membership. It is recommended that you sync your SGX with CaddieSync at your earliest convenience.

Once the update process has been completed, please do the following:

1. Re-download your courses to the SGX
2. Power off the SGX
3. Unplug the cable from the SGX
4. While the cable is disconnected, power the SGX back on

THE FOLLOWING FEATURE ENHANCEMENTS ARE INCLUDED:

AutoView Technology

AutoView Technology is a new feature for the SGX and is designed to provide three viewing positions – one “portrait position” and two additional “landscape positions”. You can switch between Interactive HoleVue With Zoom, IntelliGreen and the Digital Scorecard simply by rotating the SGX to the left or right. If you have rotated the SGX to a landscape position, after one minute the screen will automatically return to the portrait position. Click HERE to learn more about AutoView.

By default, AutoView will be turned ON. To change AutoView settings:
  1. From the Main Menu, select "Settings" < "Preferences"
  2. Highlight "Landscape View" and select
  3. In the confirmation box, select "Yes" or "No"

You can also customize the sensitivity settings of AutoView. To change the settings:
  1. From the Main Menu, select “Settings” > "System"
  2. Highlight and select “AutoView Sensitivity”
  3. Highlight the desire sensitivity level and select “OK”

IntelliGreen in Landscape Position

When "Landscape View" is enabled, you can rotate the SGX to the RIGHT to see a landscape view of IntelliGreen.

Scorecard in Landscape Position

When "Landscape View" is enabled, you can rotate the SGX to the LEFT to see a landscape view of the Digital Scorecard.

New Background Colors

The background colors and textures on the HoleVue and IntelliGreen screens were updated to make the SGX even easier to read inside and outside.

Fourth Level of Zoom Shows IntelliGreen

The fourth level of zoom on Interactive HoleVue With Zoom has been changed so you will now see IntelliGreen or IntelliGreen Pro.

Auto Line on HoleVue Screen

Auto Line was added to the HoleVue screen to provide a line of sight from your location to the fairway target. Previously, you would have to "Mark" your location to see a line drawn from your location to fairway target.

Improved Way to Mark Location

You can now double-tap the "Mark" button on the SGX to mark a new location. This allows you to by-pass the "Mark Ball Confirmation" screen.

Center-Only Target View

The new "Center-Only" target view is a Play screen that only shows the distance to the center of the green in a larger, easy to read format. When Center Only is selected, all of the other Target Views will be turned off including HoleVue, IntelliGreen, Target List and Big Number.

By default, Center Only will be turned OFF. To enable Center Only:
  1. From the Main Menu, select "Settings" < "Targets"
  2. Highlight and select "Target Views"
  3. Highlight and select "Center Only"
  4. To save your changes, select "Done" using the Left Key

HoleVue Button on IntelliGreen Screen

A HoleVue button was added to the IntelliGreen screen to make it easier to navigate between screens during play.

New Look for Portrait Position Scorecard

The portrait position Digital Scorecard has been updated with new colors.

New Prompt Scoring Option

You now have the option to turn scoring ON but not be prompted to enter a score between every hole. If you turn Prompt Score OFF, you won't be required to enter a score as you play, but you can still enter your score by either rotating your SGX to the left (if you have "Landscape View enabled") or by pressing the "Info Button" ("i" icon) and selecting "Scoring".

If you have Prompt Score turned ON, the Digital Scorecard will display instead of the "Enter a Score" screen when changing between holes. To go to the "Enter a Score" screen, select the hole using the Joystick. If you do not want to enter a score, select "Next" using the Right Key.

By default, Prompt Score will be turned ON. To change Prompt Score settings:
  1. From the Main Menu, select "Settings" < "Scoring"
  2. Highlight and select "Prompt Score"
  3. Select "Yes" or "No" in the confirmation box

No Putts Will Record Unless Selected

When you enter a score on the SGX, no putts will be recorded until you highlight "Putts". By default, "2" putts will be recorded when after you highlight "Putts".
