I got a good deal; but now I know why. The fairways were in horrible shape. I hit them mostly, but it was dead grass; like hitting off hard pan. Not coming back (because it was this bad the last time I played; about 8 months ago).

The fairways were way to dry. Greens though in great shape themselves were way to hard. Did not leave but one ball mark and that was barely a small divot. Need course layout on the gps to show blind landing holes especially. To many out of bound/hazards for lost balls. I can now see why there were not very many folks out on the course even with the discounted costs. Now I know why I have not played here in over two years.

Wow... Worst tee boxes I have ever seen. Fairways have virtually no grass and it's like hitting off a dirt mount in the desert. Never coming back...

Played the Shadow Course!!!Tough course!! lots of bunkers in locations where you're drives end up.. Fairways need some real maintenance!! Greens could really use a good sanding to get them smooth. They were pretty bumpy compared to other courses around Ventura County. Even with all the rain that we've had lately, the course was very dry!!!! I have heard that the Sky course is much better in terms of condition, but also easier to play!!!

Very nice course.

Back nine needs a bit work on maintenance, BUT... not as bad how the people on Yelp reviewed it.... good, challenging course. Had a great day with my brother in law.

The bunkers are absolutely horrible. It is like hitting off of the street. The are extremely hard packed. A little fluffing by the grounds crew would probably make it a star or two better in my opinion.

This course is VISUALLY STUNNING. I've played around the world and have yet to find anything quite like it. I often describe it to people as "video game" golf. For most people it's too much, and too difficult. I on the other hand love the challenge. Just don't go out there expecting to shoot low, especially if the winds are up (and they usually are).
