Presidio Golf Course

The prestigious Presidio Golf Course opened for public play in 1995 and has quickly gained a reputation as one of the nation's top public courses. The tight, bunker-laden fairways wind through eucalyptus and Monterey Pine trees.

Designed with tight fairways and strategically placed bunkers, this was originally a Robert Wood Johnstone design and expanded in 1910 by Johnstone and William McEwan. The first redesign occurred in 1921 (British firm of Fowler & Simpson), followed by the recent (1995-97) reconstruction.
