Memorial Park Golf Course

The Memorial Park Golf Course is known as one of the best municipal courses in the nation and is visited by more than 60,000 patrons each year. The course opened in 1923 with 9 sand greens, and later expanded to 18 holes. A major renovation / reconstruction occurred from 1994 to 1995 with new practice facilities, a new clubhouse, and a museum built using materials from the original club house.

Proximity to downtown and cheap rates are the positives, but 18 holes will take you 4.5 hours, count on it.
