Bell and sons. It opened in 1957 as the second course of the 36-hole complex. BALBOA is the original and shorter course here, featuring more narrow faiways. Also a Billy Bell, Sr. design, this course opened in 1954 as the Sepulveda North Course, and underwent a partial redesign by architect Steve Timm in 2008.
