Mississippi's oldest golf course, established in 1908, is located on the Gulf of Mexico. It has reopened (after hurricane Katrina) with two NEW greens and features square greens and was the site of Sam Snead's PGA Tour win in 1945. Come enjoy this great historic golf course.

It's touted to be the oldest course in Mississippi and it shows the wear. Now it did go through Katrina but just has not comeback all that well. There are some holes where the big Oak Trees branches are in the way and I know originally it wasn't planned that way just over time have become so. Some holes routing wasn't clear and several greens had bare spots due to fungus on the greens. The greens are all pretty much pushed up and all are square or rectangled. It wasn't a bad play just wasn't a good one.
