The owner of this course filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August of 2008; the club was almost purchased in the late summer of 2010, but the sale reportedly fell through. The course itself is located inside a residential community.

At one time there were 27 holes here, the original Gold Creek 18 and the nine-hole "Prospector" course, but before the course closed, the two layouts were consolidated.
