4400 W 16th St Indianapolis, IN 46222-2512 www.BrickyardCrossing.com 317.484.6572 All marketing hype aside, Brickyard Crossing really is one of the more unique golf experiences in the world, since four holes and two water hazards are located inside the famous 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The first golf course ("Speedway Golf Course") was developed by one-time owner and war hero Eddie Rickenbacker, and opened in 1929. That course actually hosted a PGA Tour event from 1960-68, coinciding with the annual 500 race. After the original course was bulldozed, Indiana native Pete Dye designed the current course, which opened in 1993 and hosted a Senior Tour event from 1994-2000, as well as the 1999 Indiana Open. The course is located about five miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis. The standard rate (with cart) is $90. Course Details
Average Hole Difficulty
Beautiful course in an awesome location (4 holes inside of Indianapolis Motor Speedway). However, the cost, $90/rd is just way too high for a course in central Indiana. Your Review
