This new course is owned by the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and operated by Troon Golf. Sewailo is located adjacent to the tribe's Casino del Sol Resort, about 15 minutes from Tucson International Airport. (The word Sewailo means "flower world" in the Pascua Yaqui language.)
The course debuted on December 12, 2013 with a design by architect Ty Butler and former PGA Tour player Notah Begay III, who is a member of both the Pueblo and Navajo nations. Full practice and teaching facilities are included.
The maximum green fee is reported to be $140.

Nice place to play. Troon Golf has real gem here

This course is great ... brand new and in a couple years when it matures it is going to be one of the best in the area. Sometimes can't see the trouble ... pay attention to the GPS hole layouts. Casino is a great play to stay ... excellent room and pool. Food was terrific.

The course is barely two months old and other than allowing some of the landscaping to fill in it is ready to play. Signage to the pro-shop and bag drop is not evident but the staff were eager to see us enjoy our round and it was worth it.
Do yourself a favor; pick a tee and move one forward. The course will test you anyway and but it will reward you if you have the courage
