This course opened in 1967 with a design by Edmund B. Ault and, in years past, hosted the PGA Tour's Las Vegas Invitational and the LPGA's Takefuji Classic. Architect Mark Rathert oversaw a major, eight-months-long redesign and rebuild of the course in 2009.

The course is right for the price. Easy on the eyes and pocketbook with a few challenges to keep you interested. However, if you wait for a late in the day tee-time it can be extremely crowded on the course.
