It's Earth Day!

It's Earth Day ClubSG! Learn about the "holiday" and how we can help as golfers! According to Wikipedia:
Earth Day is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment. It was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in held on April 22, 1970. Earth Day is celebrated in spring in the Northern Hemisphere and autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. Earth Day Network, a group that wishes to become the coordinator of Earth Day globally, asserts that Earth Day is now observed on April 22 on virtually every country on Earth. World Environment Day, celebrated on June 5 in a different nation every year, is the principal United Nations environmental observance. Many communities also celebrate Earth Week, an entire week of environment-related activities.So- in honor of Earth Day, I thought I'd encourage everyone to replace their divots and fix their ball marks. Everytime I play- I'm reminded of how many people do not know how to properly fix a ball mark- so I figured a video lesson was in order (bottom of the page).
Also- since it's Earth Day I thought I'd link to a list of Audubon International Sanctuary Courses, which basically means they are earth friendly, plus you may see a cool animal or two. Go play one of those courses this weekend instead of your normal track. You're doing good by the earth who doesn't want her on our kids' side?
