Jimmy Walker has played professional golf since 2001. After playing on the PGA Tour's AAA-minor league circuit for a few years, he first earned his big-show tour card in 2005, but injuries got in the way and he made only six cuts. He has steadily improved since then.

CordeValle, Walker shot a 62, then followed up with a 66 that included an important bogey save at 5, a 28-foot par-saving putt at 6, and four birdies afterward, Walker didn't wilt under the pressure. And when Brooks Koepka dumped a shot into the water (
