Poulter Wins. No, Not THAT Poulter...
By Torleif Sorenson on 1/7/14
U.S. Kids Golf not only manufactures kid-friendly clubs, but they also organize and host a variety of local, regional, and international tournaments for kids up to age 14. One of those events, the Orlando Local Tour Championship, wrapped up on Sunday in Orlando, Florida.

We offer our hearty congratulations to Luke James Poulter for winning that tournament. Luke is a nine-year-old resident of the Orlando area and shot a four-over-par 40, which included nailing three consecutive pars after a disappointing triple-bogey at the 6th hole.

It really doesn't matter how old you are, how good your game is, or if you never make it onto the big tour. In golf, a win is always a win — and cause for congratulations.

Predictably, Luke's dad is really proud of him. So proud, in fact, that he live-tweeted his son's victory.

So amazing to caddy for Luke today. So very proud of how he conducted himself even on a disappointing hole. Very exciting.
