Charlie Sifford Gets His Medal

Well, this honor was a long time coming (and overdue), but on Monday, pioneering golfer Charlie Sifford received the Presidential Medal of Freedom at the White House. Earlier this month, we told you about the award and about Sifford's career, which was artificially stunted by Jim Crow laws of the era.

Referring to Sifford as the "grandfather he never had," Tiger Woods congratulated Sifford again on Monday, via Twitter...
