It's "Be Kind To Your Course Superintendent Week"
By Torleif Sorenson on 1/8/15
Brody Cornelius is the assistant course superintendent at the very picturesque Greystone Golf & Country Club in Birmingham, Alabama. It is bad enough that global warming a deep polar plunge has complicated his work this week:

Covers going on greens today for cold weather this week, will stay on until Saturday. @greystonegcc #oldmanwinter

...but now, some imbecile decided to make Brody's job even more of a headache:

This divot pattern will take a very long time to heal. #turfproblems @GCImagazine pic.twitter.com/dJAnSWUcjJ

We at SkyGolf 360 hereby declare this week as "Be Kind To Your Course Superintendent Week." After all, they work harder than anybody else on the course for our benefit. And whoever did this better hope that he isn't caught or turned in by somebody else at the club. At the least, somebody owes Brody, his boss, and the rest of the course maintenance staff a really nice dinner at the club.

Sheesh.

We have a great super for our City courses. He runs a blog [ treetownturfguy.blogspot.com/ ] that has some informative stuff once you get past the monthly weather summaries. He is always riding around in a cart with his dog, checking on this & that.
