EA Sports makes Rory their cover boy

EA Sports (an arm of video game developer Electronic Arts) severed ties in 2013 with Tiger Woods as the promotional cover feature for their golf video game. Three months from now, the newest version of EA's PGA Tour-branded golf video game will feature Rory McIlroy on the cover.
On their web site, EA Sports touts their use of Frostbite, a software technology that is advertised as providing a more realistic outdoor environment in games such as Battlefield and Mass Effect. For Rory McIlroy PGA Tour Golf, Frostbite 3 is supposed to save 30 seconds worth of loading time per hole:
EA Sports plans to release Rory McIlroy PGA Tour in June and is available for pre-order.

Someone stated that the removal of Tiger from the EA golf game truly put the last nail in the coffin for Tiger's days in the sun.
