Played ocean, it is a very good looking golf course. However, I was there just after a huge down pouring of rain and the drainage wasn't the best. Almost every shot was in casual water finding relief was hard. Bunkers were full of water, no run on fairways.
Having said that greens were running very true. Would've been good for a bit of good weather but was fun all the same!

18 at the old course fantastic view and challenge. Enjoyed the link style ocean course fun to play and bagpiper was out on the course. Bloody Marys at end of round made it all worth while. staff great and very helpful

I play all over the bay area every week. The two HMB courses are still my favorite and we play a few times a month. slow play is rare here and being a legend member prices are very nice

Slow play as expected for a resort course, plus I didn't find the holes to very creative with elevation change or dog legs. The scenery coming off the Pacific however is stunning. Golf course is still challenging.

Very nice course. Course design shows you do not need length to provide challenge. 17 and 18 are as good as any ocean front holes on the west coast.

Beautiful course . I played on a Wednesday and played in 4 hours. I got a good price on Golfnow and don't think I would return if I had to pay full price.

The Ocean Course is a pretty links style layout. The wind is the course's defense, but when it's calm, good scores are for the taking. The condition of the course is usually very good. The course is walkable.
The Old Course winds through houses and trees and is probably the tougher of the two courses. The holes are memorable and are framed well. The houses don't suffocate the course at all.
The finishing hole on the Old Course is more spectacular than than the finishing hole on the Ocean Course.
There is no driving range here, but the putting green and chipping area are top notch.
