I have player here several times over the last couple years. The course is in good shape comparred to 4-5 years ago. No more rumors of it closing since Westwinds has shut down. It could be the best in the high desert if it were carred for better, but Apple Valley is still the better public course.

The course is in much better shape then in the recent past. Several of the green sure looked like they needed more watering. Many greens had brown spots and in some cases the dirt was showing. Still they are in much better condition then say 6 months ago. I keep hearing rumors that the city may close it. That would be a shame because if it was fixed up it would easily be the best course in the high desert. I hear Apple Valley may also close and who know about Green Tree. If that happens any public course that does stay open will sure get lots of business. Don't understand why cities buy course and then want to close them. Stupid leadership.
