Lockwood Folly Country Club is a superbly conditioned, semi-private, member owned "hidden gem". The course is located at the confluence of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Lockwood Folly River, providing golfers with breathtaking vistas of tidal estuary, moss covered hard- woods and the solitude of nature. HORRIBLE greens, basically black mud with a sprig or two of grass

Friendly staff (found the staff to be very courteous) and course is in good condition. Very pretty course with views of the Lockwood Folly River. Cooler on hot days than other inland couses. 18th hole, par 5, is a wonderful finishing hole with pond on the right, traps on the left and an uphill shot to the green. Looks out over the Lockwood Folly River. Only negative is I found the practice green to be much faster than the course greens. Also, more expensive than some surrounging courses.
