Was shocked at the quality or overall care and maintenance. Greens were terrible and rough. For the money a huge disappointment.

Extraordinarily challenging, water on almost every hole, elevated and extremely large greens with pins tucked in the corners, in good condition for November. You will earn your score as most approach shots are one to two clubs more than the measured distance; make sure you have a gps to inform you regarding the huge yardage differences that occur as the result of differing pin position; I measured one green as 60 yards deep.

The nicest RTJ course at Hampton Cove, a little more maintained than the River Course

Considerations: Played right after heavy rains, a lot of cancellations, etc., but tried to look beyond that. We had traveled for 3 hours to play so had little choice.
