Interesting scenic course surrounded by the San Gabriel Mountains. Marshall Canyon Golf Course is an 18 hole facility built in 1966, located in the beautiful foothills above La Verne California. MCGC is a walkable course that offers a true challenge to men and women, young and old, good golfers and duffers. The greens are an experience in themselves. There are rewards for those who challenge the course and succeed and trouble for those who challenge and fail.

Great challenging course. Tough green reads, pay attention to the mountains and watch out for those deer!

Nice course and wildlife throughout and very fun. Good value price, nice greens and fairways. I will play again.

A somewhat scruffy and benign public course that's nestled in quite a nice piece of land in the San Gabriel foothills. It's a bit of shame that the layout and conditions aren't up to par with the scenery. A private outfit could transform it into something special.

Fun course, not very long but challenging lies await nearly every shot and the greens are some of the toughest I've played. Be prepared for a 5-6 hour round though...
