Four courses are part of this private country club, which is now operated by ClubCorp.

The 18-hole Island course is a Joe Finger design that opened in 1974. It is notable for the closing hole, which was described by Golf Digest magazine as the toughest finishing hole in golf.

The Forest Course was the site of most of the "U.S. Open" scenes in the Kevin Costner film Tin Cup. The real-life tournaments that have been held over the Forest 18 include Q-School Stage 1 qualifying, a former Canadian Tour event, and the 2008 Texas State Senior Open. The course opened in 1992 with a design by Joe Finger and Baxter Spann.

The Marsh Course is another Joe Finger design and was the first to open here in 1976. The 18-hole Lake Course opened in 1977 with a design by Bruce Littell.
