While this property opened in 1971 as Murrieta GC, legal battles forced the course to close. Local developer Bill Johnson came to the rescue in 1986, opening the course to the public. The Southern California Golf Assocation then acquired the course in part for tournament play, and named it SCGA Golf Club at that time. Not surprisingly, the well-regarded course has hosted SCGA Championships and qualifying events for USGA, SCGA and PGA tournaments.

The rack rates (with cart) are $55 on weekdays, $75 on weekends. SoCal resident, sliding twilight, walking, senior, military, and member discounts are available.

Actually, a pretty nice and interesting track, except for holes 14-16, where you're unceremoniously dropped into the backyard of a mobile home park. Weird.
