From name and pictures, expected a strange round but was pleasantly surprised. Pace was slow because of 2 hour delay. A little pricy.

Course was in great shape. Green fee on Friday was $90. (OUCH!) We were behind 1 guy getting married with 5 of his buddy's. So we were @ a dead stop everytime the beer girl showed up. 4.75 hr round.

The first thing that I noticed about this experience was the staff. World class customer service that you will not find on other courses at this price point. Greens were immaculate, very well maintained, and well laid out. The front 9 is a little more open, but the back 9 tightens up. The back 9 is actually in the quarry and if you do not hit fairway, you have lost your ball. Highly recommend play here, I am a 20 handicapper and I truly enjoyed this play. I would put this course in the top 5 in San Antonio. Just FYI, leave your long clubs in your bag for warm up, only irons on the range which is a little disappointing.

Fun course to play, friendly staff, good value and worth the drive to play. For TX, a scenic course which is well maintained.

The course starter was probably the friendliest guy in San Antonio, he does an awesome job. The course was great, well maintained and fit my game to the tee! I recommend this course to anyone looking for a fun, scenic and moderately challenging round of golf.

Played two very enjoyable rounds at The Quarry on a recent visit to San Antonio. Very nice practice facility, very well maintained, fun course with beautiful scenery on the back nine. My only dig is the high weekend price. After paying something like $58 on Thursday, I was charged $97 on Friday. Big bump! Play Mon-Thursday and it's a great value. Weekends, not so much!

Must play if in San Antonio, at least once. A finesse course; no grip it and rip it here.
