First time I've played there but I liked it and will play there again. The course is wide open and it's hard to lose a ball so that helps the score. they still need to get rid of some of the gravel paths but they are not that bad.

Willow Springs is a good course to work on your game. the fairways are fairly open and causes one to manage their shots to score well. The fees are very reasonable, thus many golfers are on the course in weekday afternoons and weekends. This tends to cause very slow play at times. My last round it took 3hrs just to shoot 9 holes. Usually it is not that bad, but is a slow play. Mid summer, the course tends to have hard/dry fairways, yet the tee boxes and greens are fairly well kept. Like i said, it is a good course to work on your game if it has been a while since your last round.

Cheap course. Friendly staff. Terrible conditions. Fairways were tilled. Greens were weeds. Tee time was backed up 40 minutes. Took us 6 hours to play a round because the course was too full. Probably the worst course experience I have had in the DFW area. Cow pasture describes this course best.
