Course was in very good shape. The greens where running true and had some subtle little breaks you would expect to see on much more expensive courses. Pace of play was bad, but that was due to a beginner group and the staff was very good at pushing them when it got to be a problem. Best muni course in Hampton Roads, and a lot of fun for my 1st round (or even practice) for the year. Hopefully life settles down and I can get back to playing more.

Greens were a little rough, to many unfixed divits. Course was a good challenge though and the bent grass was well kept.

Overall this is a pretty good course and well kept. Atleast when I went. The greens were in great shape and the fairways also. The course itself was challenging enough. Lots of sand and water, but not too much that it gets in the way.
