A very nice layout that demands accuracy over distance at very reasonable rates given the quality of the course. Rangers were very active to make sure that pace kept up (no issues our day). Only complaint was that some of the tee boxes and greens were a little beaten up. It was strange because the rest of the course was in great condition. It was almost like they hadn't moved the tees and pins for a few busy days. Other than that, very nice experience.

Course was in great shape. Lots of sand, so accuracy is key. Some very cool holes and a par 5 on the back that demands accuracy! Would definitely play it more often.

greens are bumpy and pitted. bunkers are full of rocks, not stones, but rocks. not a well maintaned course for the money

friendly staff, beautiful scenery and plenty of challenges. watch out for hidden hazzards.

A young golf course with some great holes, especially on the back nine.

Great overall course. Everything is manicured so nicely!! The greens were a little hard so that made repairing ball marks a little tough, but they rolled so true and were generally receptive to shots. Fast as lightning downhill and slower than molasses uphill. One thing i really thought was great is the "intermediate fairway" you'll find on most holes. There are fairway "landing areas" on all the holes. These are very nice and closely mown areas that you find on most high end courses, but then there is a secondary fairway in between. More often than not, it's referred to as the "First cut" of rough, but it's shorter than that. It fills the void between fairways, as well as a skirt about a yard wide on the sides. There are also areas of it short of the actual fairway so in case you don't make it, you at least have a shot. If you get in the primary rough though, you'll find it tough to get out. It's thick and the ball sets down quickly. The sand is very good in all the bunkers. Very fine and fluffy as it should be.
I went on father's day and there was no shortage of people on the course. We made it through with relatively little waiting. There were a few times, mostly on par 3's that we had to wait because the group 2 ahead wasn't done, but it was smooth sailing the whole way.
CONS: when we got there, they said that there were no more keys for the carts. not no more carts, but no more KEYS to the carts. I don't see how you could let that happen and we were a little put off since we had to wait for someone to come in to get a cart. but it wasn't a long wait and we had plenty of time to warm up.
There is also no view of the river. It's a solid 9 iron from the delaware, but you can't see it because of all the growth. Not like it's a big deal but i felt jipped out of some prime viewing pleasure.
Other PROS: There is still some beautiful scenery and wildlife on the course. We actually saw two deer on one of the par 5's. They just were walking through. You could almost reach out and pet them. They didn't even care that we were playing through. The beer girl works backwards from 18, which ensures you'll see here a good 4 times at least during your round. Plus she's hot - second bonus. There's a lot of water coolers as well so you won't be dehydrated.
I'd recommend this course to anybody. Definitely get there.
