Course is maintained well. Multiple tee boxes will cater to anyones game. Fairways are well maintained with some area marked as under repair. Native grasses border most fairways so errant shots will have to be dropped in a playable area. Greens are good but not great with some grass coloration differences. Staff is very nice. A challenging course with beautiful scenery.

Great course that has been let go some. Another issue is pace of play...This would be a great place to force the appropriate tee with six to play from.

You know, it really is a tough course and if you can't hit your driver straight leave it in the bag. Several holes were cart path only (why?) and the course was beat to shit. Overplayed, not well maintained at all. Disappointing....if it weren't for the scenery I would rate it a 2 out of 10.

Fun Course with great scenery, but the green are in terrible shape. Hard pan, and can't hold a the green on an approach shot.

As Vista Ridge this was an outstanding golf course. As Colorado National they've let the place run down. The scenery is still awesome, and the course is still a challenge. But the tee boxes are all ripped up, the greens are like putting on hard pan.
I wanted to cuss out who ever was responsible for filling the water coolers out on the course...96 degrees out and there was not water available.
I'd say this great golf course aint what it used to be.

Solid test for all skill levels with wonderful views of Mt. Meeker and Long's summit. 18 is probably the best finishing hole in the region. Probably why CU bought the course for their golf team's home course and to host NCAA tourneys.
