In the late 1970's local realtor and entrepeneur Bill Bilton had a dream of creating a golf and real estate complex the envy of all others.

As a golf course architect he selected Robert Trent Jones Senior. For a property a site bordered by sagebrush-covered hills to the north and the South Thompson River to the south was selected. An inspired choice it was!

Rivershore Golf Links is a course of uncommon beauty, conditioning, playability and challenge. By his own words Robert Trent Jones Senior created a masterpiece - a sentiment echoed by the legions of admirers who have played this superb design.

I love this course. One of my favorites.

The course is boring and lacks character. No starter and no marshals. It took just over 5 hours for us to get around as a 2some. Too many good options for golf in and around Kamloops to bother with this track.
