The club dates to 1900, although three-time U.S. Open champion Hale Irwin designed the current course, which opened in 1991.

During the peak-season, walking is permitted only on Mondays through Thursdays at $40 (carts are $9). On Fridays, weekends, and holidays, carts are required; those rates are $59 on Fridays, $69 on weekends and holidays. Twilight and 9-hole rates are offered, as are memberships.
