French Woods is a family owned and run Golf Course. The maintenance isn't as good as it could be but it is a great value and has some challenging holes and lovely views of the Catskill Mountains

The course is well layed out and an interesting track. Great views. But, the turf on the vack nine is lacking in many places and some of the greens are very small and "turtle backed" to boot. Ya just can't hold them with an approach shot of more than 20-25 yards!On Mon through Thurs a free breakfast or lunch with the greens fee and the combo is a great buy.
