Beautiful Jack Nicklaus course nestled between huge mansions 1 hour from San Francisco. Each hole is bordered by the mansions, but they don't suffocate the holes. The holes are framed beautifully with side bunkering and slightly undulating fairways. There are generous landing areas off the tee shot so whip out the big stick and let er rip. The greens are fast, but nothing super tricky, so well read putts are rewarded. Practice your long irons, because there are no short par 4's from the back tees. A well balanced design of challenge and fun.
