This public course's design was a collaboration between George Fazio (1912-1986) and his nephew Tom Fazio. Locals describe the first nine as shorter and easier than the second nine, which includes water hazards on five holes--including a natural swamp that is home to an endangered species of turtles. The signature hole is #11, a 336-yard par-4 requiring an approach shot over water to the green.
