Played the Arden, un-inspiring front 9, the back 9 however is much better.
took almost 5hrs to play and the course marshal didnt seem to think that was slow, so only play here if you want to spend the whole day on the course

Arden course is a delight .. Aylesford more like a municipal course and avoid it on weekends due to very slow pace of play!

Played Aylesford and Arden on the same day. Both in good nick, but you can tell the Arden is the main course. Having never played the Aylesford before, I was pleasantly surprised, in reasonable nick and had some nice holes on it. The Arden however is in a different class, the front nine is nice enough with some good holes, I especially like 4, 6, 8, 9, but the back nine almost feels like a different course, more mature and more tree lined. For me 10, 12,15-18 are the pick of the holes. You can see why it is a former European Tour venue. We played it for £40 on a Saturday pm. Great value.

Played the Arden course yesterday it had rained for a couple days prior so the fairways in places were under water, its quite long so becomes a bit of a slog in the wet. The bunkers were shocking, deer prints in them on the back nine, so had not been maintained by the green staff. Having said that the greens were in good nick a little two paced but true. If it was not a corprate facility I am sure it would have been closed. Stayed at the hotel, not that great and food just so so. Marriotts in the USA are far better value.

Great weekend here, loved both courses and agree with others better than the Belfry, greens superb also agree with others the noise from the M6 when playing the Aylesford but great courses

Arden course is probably one of the best courses in the midlands, especially the back 9. It is better than the belfry. Fairways and greens are excellent. It is fairly long and good driving is necessary for good scoring. Expensive if you pay full price but good rates with a member.
