The course looked right, straight from the start. Very well maintained, the fairways and greens were in great condition.
There was very little rough so finding a ball (even amongst the trees) wasn't really a problem.
The greens were very slick on downhill putts which combined with some interesting slopes and borrows made you think over even the shortest putts. Uphill putts were fine, so it was very much a case of keeping the ball below the hole.
Some of the bunkers were nightmares as they had revetted faces and were quite deep.
The members were all very friendly and welcoming and the food and drink was excellent and well priced.
Overall I would highly recommend a day at this location, I had driven 100 miles to play with some friends and it was money and time very well spent.

Very good greens and a course that is tight in places. Some greens are difficult to hold as they slope from front to back. They also have slopes that create some awkward curling putts where pace is everything. A good test of golf.
