The legendary architect, Dr. Alister Mackenzie designed this course, which opened in 1914 and features a hybrid moorland / parkland-style layout. The club is located in Harrogate, an English town known for Turkish spa baths.

Visitors are welcome; the weekday visitor walking rates are as follows:
18 holes = £50
27 holes = £55
36 holes = £65

On weekends the standard walking rate is £65, then drops to £40 after 3:00 p.m.
