Both the 18-hole Lakes Course and the 9-hole, double-tee Meadows course were designed by architect Howard Swan and the late three-time Open champion Sir Henry Cotton.

is an 18-hole layout designed by Sir Henry Cotton. The Meadows Course is actually a nine-hole course with two sets of tees and handicaps, so that it can be played as an 18-hole course (blue tees to black tees).

Societies and visitors are welcome, but must book in advance. The standard visitor walking rates on the Lakes Course are £25 on weekdays, £50 on weekend afternoons (carts are £22/round or £30/day).
