Played the lakes. Lots of water, but didn't come into play too much. Fairways in great shape. Greens in pretty good shape.

Forest course is one of my favorites, especially the island green number 6. Greens are terrific on both courses.

Forrest course is a great layout and vastly improved over the prior maintenance level. Only real problem is course drainage after rainfall is poor. Can become a muddy swamp in some areas. Overall a very enjoyable course when the weather holds up the rains.

I mostly play practice rounds on the lakes because of the fairly resonable price with the paradise card. New ownership has invested heaviliy in new carts and the greens and fairways are in pretty good shape. Greens ran about a 9 or 10. The forest coarse is much more challenging if you have a single digit handicap.

According to the starter, the courses are under new ownership which has plans to upgrade the clubhouse and cartpaths. I hope so. The Lakes course fairways were in bad shape, and the greens were only slightly better. No wonder no one else was playing on the day I played!
