The noted Canadian architect Thomas McBroom designed this very picturesque course. In 2001, Bell Bay hosted the Wayne Gretzky & Friends Invitational, in which The Great One and partners Brett Hull and Joe Sakic teamed up against Canada's future Masters champion, Mike Weir.

Visitors are welcome; the peak-season walking rate is C$90; carts are C$17. Memberships and resort guest rates are also offered.

Fairways are beautiful, however the greens had a different grass growing up in patches which made for inconsistent speeds.
