This course is ranked among the top twenty in Australia and is the current host of the New South Wales Open. Angophoras and eucalypts line the fairways of this 6200-meter (6780-yard) course, which runs over rollings sand dunes outside Newcastle.

Visitors with a valid golf handicap certificate are welcome all day on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays, and then at limited times the rest of the week. Corporate groups are welcome with advance arrangement, while members of certain clubs in Australia are welcome via reciprocal arrangement.
