Lets start with the highlights, the staff was exceptionally accommodating - they alone are the reason I'd return without hesitation. Secondly, the value. The price can't be beat for a course in this condition.
I played from the whites and shot one of my best rounds, not because the course isn't challenging, because the fairway bunkers and narrowing of fairways force you to make accurate drives, but the rough isn't deadly, and I played everyone of my approach shots from within 100 yds and stuck most of them.
On the other hand, the one area that I experienced that would need to be addressed is the driving range. It's a grass hitting surface, but the area that was "open" was devastated with previous golfers divots and by the look of them, they were using shovels and not irons. The range was in rough shape, and the recommended hitting area should have been moved to a different section of the range (since there was ample space). As with most ranges, the price is a bit high, and I assume that this is the course's largest profit margin.
If you're looking for scenery, this isn't the place. The course is flat, with several water hazards and has a fair number of tree lined fairways. Considering the area that the course is located in, you can't expect more.
To conclude, I can't wait to return, so I can see if my low score was a fluke, if the slope/rating is inflated, or if I'm just getting better.

Booked this course through GolfNow, $33 incl. taxes, decent price for this course. There is not much in the way of scenery, flat and fairly open, wind can and does play a large part while playing the course. The greens were in very good condition, bunkers were ok, the course was quite wet in spots from an overnight rain.
