The club formed in 1909 with a nine-hole course at a different site; this course opened in 1959 with a design by notable Canadian architect C.E. 'Robbie' Robinson, and has remained largely intact since then. There has been some expansion, with an irrigation system and pond, bunker renovations, added tees, and tree replacement.
