Five-time Open champion James Braid designed this course, which dates to 1910 and actually cross from Berkshire into Oxfordshire after the 5th hole.

Visitors are welcome at £40 weekdays, and then as guests of members on weekends at £25. Societies are also welcome with advance arrangement; a number of packages are listed on the club's web site. Memberships are also available, as are several stay-and-play packages.
