This course was designed by Nick Faldo, who describes this course as dramatic, but with an honest appearance and no hidden tricks. "With so many courses in the region, that’s no mean feat," he said.

Faldo preserved much of the natural terrain, including cacti, wild herbs, and desert scrub bunkers of crushed limestone. replace Berkshire’s sandy tracts in a golf course that revels in the classic principles of strategic play. The course opened in 2008 and is located just off the EN529 near Silves.

Stunningly beautiful but very tough. A few too many blind holes and can be unfair in places. Overall excellent but preferred the neighbouring O'Connor as it didn't beat you up as much!

A wonderful golf course in superb condition and the views are special, also played the O'Connor same condition and same clubhouse preference for the Faldo although it is more challenging
