For a public course this was quite a treat. There is no sand, but lots of water. It is a challenging course. During Spring and Fall the scenery is amazing. By the way it says that it is private, but actually it is public.
Tell the guys inside if your a military vet, and they will sometimes cut you a deal, because the owners are both vets.
