I hadn't played the course in 15 years. It was every bit as spectacular as I remembered it.

I worked on this course when it first opened and it was one of the best to play but it has deteriorated over time as the drainage was always horrible as the course designer figured it would self drain as it is on the mountain side but unfortunately he is not from Vancouver.
They were installing lots of new drainage as I played (July 2012), only time if it will help.
Tight course must hit straight and bunkers are penalizing and in some cases will plug on the step faces (some traps just have too much sand in them). Greens were the only part of the course in good shape.
Fees need to stay below $100 (no course is unless its Pebble Beach) to make it more affordable.
I hope the new owners will spend the money to bring it back to it old glory!
