Awesome course. A bit short from the forward tees but very satisfying. I recommend it and would play it again.

With the new ownership came a complete remake of the course. Previously there were several areas where the desert had overgrown the course and if a ball went into that area you could not follow and find and hit out. The club house is currently closed for remodeling but the facility, driving range and chipping/putting greens are open. I played there during the summer and the price was reasonable, the course was in great shape and the staff very friendly.

Played this course during a mini vacation the end of Oct. Chose this course (formerly known as the Sancuary)on the advice of a friend who'd played it 2 years ago, and because of the story; Purchased by Phil Mickelson who brought back the original designer for a complete overhaul to make it easier forf high handicappers yet more challenging for low handicappers. It reopened the beginning of October. I would now classify this as a nice resort destination. The pro shop, practice facility and dining facility are all very, very nice. The rates were the best of 3 courses I played in Scottsdale. The course featured fairways that were generous enough to be fair for all, yet very challenging from the back tees. The strategic bunkering and use of the native areas cause golfers of all skill levels to carefully consider choices of clubs and shot shapes. Thank you Phil Mickelson and Randy Heckenkemper for a job very well done. Those planning a visit to Phoenix/Scottsdale, put this on your list.

Nice course with some fairly tight rolling fairways. Some of the greens are tough for longer putts but the place is in very good shape for what I paid. The guy I golfed with (a single with our threesome)paid twice what I did. Save $$ online & take lots of water, it was 95 degrees when we finished!
