Sam004 - 8/20/13
Classic course, with only one set of tees, however it is markered by CDGA for varying distances from each tee box. So not much variation in yardage is available. Course has a feel more of Colt & Allison than a Ross design.
Tree line is tight to all the fairways, but it not overly dense, which provide the greatest defense of par. Bunkers are very large and in play for all except the very long hitters off the tee.
Fairways were tightly mowed and firm, allowing for a little more distance than usual.
Greens were less than Country Club level standards, perhaps due to recent heavy play.
Very few water hazards are in play.
